All 37 Heavy Weapons and Base Attack
What this page helps you decide: whether the sixteen-ore price of a heavy weapon is buying you enough attack to be worth it.
Heavy holds the two highest published attack values in the game and charges the most ore of any weapon recipe to get there. Sixteen ore per attempt at a stated 100 percent chance is more than five times the light weapon cost, and the payoff at the top is Heaven Fall at 16.5 followed by Cinder Breaker at 16. What makes this class interesting is not the peak but the shape underneath it: 29 of the 35 heavy weapons with a published value sit between 10 and 16, which is by far the flattest top-end of any class. Once you are into that band, one heavy is much like another on raw numbers, and the difference comes from sub-stats and blessing rather than from which item you chased. There is also one heavy that a primary source explicitly tells you not to bring into a specific dungeon, which is the only weapon-level warning anywhere in the sources.

How flat the top of this class really is
Counting the published values by band gives one weapon at 3, four at 8, three at 10, four at 11, four at 12, five at 13, five at 14, seven at 15, one at 16 and one at 16.5. The median is 13 and the mean is 12.27. Seven weapons share the 15 mark, which is the largest single cluster in any class in the game, and the two weapons above it are only 7 percent and 10 percent stronger than that cluster. So the honest advice for a heavy user is to take the first 15 you can forge and spend everything after that on blessing and sub-stats, because the remaining raw upgrade on offer is smaller than a single blessing level. The bottom of the class is a different story: War Hammer at 3 is a genuine outlier, sitting 76 percent below the class median at identical ore cost.
Skills and scrolls for the heavy class
Heavy is one of three classes with named skills. The basics are Spin, Strike, Hammer Smash, Vortex, Discharge Slash and Blade Slam, and the ultimates are Meteor Jump, Swings and Charged Dash. The scroll family that matches is the heavy scroll group, four items called Collision, Shell, Boost and Spin. None of the fourteen scrolls in the game has a published effect: every effect, rarity and acquisition field in the scroll template is unfilled, and the scrolls themselves are described as a very low chance drop from the Endless Tower. So you can plan which family you want and you cannot plan around what any individual scroll does, which is a gap nobody has filled.
Two heavies with no published attack
Tribe Totem and Thundercrag both store an unfilled default rather than a real attack value. Tribe Totem has an explanation: the Seasons page names it as one of three Season 1 store exclusives alongside SilverAsh and Zone of Explosion, and store items never entered the ordinary forge pool that the template is describing. Thundercrag has no such explanation, and third-party rankings that place it near the bottom of their lists are guessing exactly as much as anyone placing it near the top would be. We list both as unpublished rather than assigning them a number, because a stored 1 in this template is a blank field and treating blanks as data is how every other ranking on this game went wrong.
Step-by-Step
- Budget sixteen ore per attempt before you commit. That is the second most expensive recipe in the game after the heavy breastplate at twenty-two, and unlike bows and gauntlets it has no relic requirement.
- Stop climbing once you are in the 10 to 16 band. Twenty-nine of the thirty-five published heavies live there, and the gap from the bottom of that band to the top is under 60 percent.
- Take Crimson out of your Endless Tower loadout. The community wiki FAQ names it specifically as a weapon it does not recommend for that dungeon, despite a respectable 13 base attack.
- Push crit chance to 90 to 100 percent for this class. Slow, heavy hits want near-certain crits, which is the highest crit target in the game alongside bows.
- Avoid War Hammer entirely unless you want it for looks. At 3 base attack it costs the same sixteen ore as a weapon more than five times stronger.

Read from the weapon data template, last edited 2026-07-31. Heaven Fall at 16.5 is the highest published base attack of all 112 weapons in the game.
| Base attack band | Weapons in band | Share of the 35 published |
|---|---|---|
| 3 to 8 | 5 | 14% |
| 10 to 13 | 16 | 46% |
| 14 to 16.5 | 14 | 40% |
Counted from the table above. The middle and top bands together hold 30 of the 35 published heavies, which is why the class reads as flat once you are past the entry tier.
FAQ
What is the highest base attack weapon in the game?
Heaven Fall at 16.5, a heavy weapon, followed by Cinder Breaker at 16. Nine weapons across all classes have no published value, so those two are the highest confirmed rather than the highest possible.
Which heavy weapon should I avoid?
The community wiki FAQ names Crimson specifically as a poor choice for the Endless Tower. On raw numbers War Hammer is the weakest heavy by a wide margin at 3 base attack for the same sixteen ore as everything else in the class.
Is a heavy weapon worth five times the ore of a light one?
On peak attack alone it buys you 32 percent more, 16.5 against 12.5. The community FAQ argues against it on value grounds because of attack speed, so the case for heavy rests on how much you value big single hits rather than on the ore maths.
