Code Limit Reached: What It Means
What this page helps you decide: whether the code you just failed to redeem is worth trying again later or is permanently gone.
There is a widely repeated reading of this error that has it backwards. Several guides describe Code Limit Reached as a cap on how many codes you personally may redeem per day, resetting at midnight, with a limit that supposedly moves between versions. The community wiki's FAQ, which is the only source that quotes the in-game strings at all, describes something else entirely: certain codes are published with a total number of redemptions across the whole player base, and once that number is used up the code stops working for everybody. Those two explanations are not two ways of saying the same thing. One of them says wait until tomorrow; the other says this code is dead and no amount of waiting will bring it back. The distinction matters because it changes what you do next, and because it explains why milestone codes disappear within days while ordinary weekend codes last for weeks.

The four messages, in the wiki's own terms
The FAQ entry lists four distinct replies. Already Used means this Roblox account has redeemed this code before, since each code is single use per account. Code Limit Reached means the code carries a total redemption cap and the cap is full. Action too frequent. Please Wait is a short cooldown on the redemption button, with roughly ten seconds suggested before the next attempt. The fourth reply mentions having already redeemed the Discord code and is the one that most often turns out to be a typing mistake, so the advice attached to it is to check spelling and capitalisation before anything else. A separate code list records a similar burst-protection message worded as Too many actions, which is almost certainly the same cooldown recorded with different wording.
Why the daily-cap reading is the wrong one
Three things point the same way. First, the source that describes a per-player daily cap does not quote a single in-game string, while the source that describes a global cap quotes four. Second, the daily-cap version openly admits it cannot say what the limit is or produce a number, which is a strange thing not to know about a limit you are describing. Third, the global-cap reading explains an observed pattern the daily-cap reading cannot: milestone codes such as the member-count rewards are reported as expiring within days, while ordinary weekend codes last weeks. A first-come-first-served cap produces exactly that difference; a personal daily allowance produces none of it.
What we are not claiming
The FAQ that quotes those four strings is a single community source, and neither we nor anyone else publishing on this game has posted a redemption test showing the message in context. So the honest statement is this: the only source that reproduces the game's own wording says the cap belongs to the code, other pages say it belongs to you, and the message on your screen is the thing to trust over either of us. If you ever see a Code Limit Reached message stop appearing for the same code on the same day, that would falsify the global reading, and we would rather hear about it than defend a page.
Step-by-Step
- Read the message the game actually printed rather than assuming. Four different strings exist and they mean four different things.
- If it says Code Limit Reached, stop retrying that code. The cap is global, not personal, and no reset is going to hand it back to you.
- If it says Already Used, the code worked once on this account. That is the only message that means you got the reward.
- If it complains about frequency, wait roughly ten seconds and go back to redeeming one code at a time.
- If it mentions the Discord code, treat it as a typing error first: check capitals letter by letter before assuming the code is fake.
Data Tables
| In-game reply | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Already Used | This account has redeemed this code before; one use per account | Nothing. You already have the reward |
| Code Limit Reached | The code has a total redemption cap and the cap is full | Skip it. It is finished for everyone, not just for you |
| Action too frequent. Please Wait | Short cooldown on the redemption button | Wait about ten seconds and redeem one code at a time |
| You have already redeemed the discord code | Usually a mistyped code on an account that already used the Discord reward | Recheck spelling and capitals character by character |
All four strings come from the community wiki FAQ, last edited 2026-08-10. It is the only source we found that reproduces the in-game wording.
FAQ
Does Code Limit Reached reset the next day?
Not according to the only source that quotes the game's own strings. It describes the limit as belonging to the code, not to your account, which means there is nothing to reset. Pages describing a nightly reset do not quote any in-game text and say themselves that they cannot give the limit a number.
How many codes can I redeem in one session?
No source publishes a number, and we are not going to invent one. What is documented is a short cooldown between redemptions, so the practical limit is pace rather than count: paste one code, read the reply, wait about ten seconds, paste the next.
Why do the member milestone codes die so fast?
A total redemption cap is consumed first come, first served, and a code announced to a Discord server with hundreds of thousands of members will exhaust a fixed pool quickly. Weekend codes appear on a regular cadence and are reported to last two to four weeks, which fits a much larger or absent cap.
