What this page helps you decide: which of Torgar's three currencies to spend, and which shelf categories are worth buying rather than farming.

Torgar runs the Grocery building and is the only vendor in this game documented as accepting three currencies: Gold, Bond Currency and Robux. His shelf is the largest published inventory anywhere in the game at thirty items, covering eight potions, nine ores, five blessing materials, three dragon materials and four level 3 runes. The shop itself has three tabs - Grocery, Bond Shop and Premium - and as of the official template's last edit on 3 August 2026 the second and third were empty. This page covers who he is, what the shelf contains by category, and why Bond Currency makes him more interesting than a normal vendor.

Bond Currency, and the system behind it

Torgar accepting Bond Currency is the one thing that makes him more than a shop, because it connects him to a system with its own progression. Bonds were introduced with the update that opened Season 2 on 19 June 2026. There are four bond types, each with a cap on how many you can hold, and the community wiki notes that the types currently have no practical difference in benefit between them. A bond can be raised to level 10, and higher levels allow trading higher-tier items. Bond levels rise through daily bond tasks, and the same page states you can buy potions to gain bond experience quickly - which is almost certainly what the 8,000 Gold Friendship Potion is for.

The shelf, by category

Eight potions: Fate, Harvest, Berserk, Attack, Life, Friendship, EXP and Gold. Nine ores: Witherite, Starfall, Redsunder, Glacium, Torbernite, Earthmaw, Voidstar, Fluorite and Sunflare - a mix of Hell, Mythic, Legendary and Epic rarities, which makes the Grocery a way to buy specific ore rather than farm for it. Five blessing materials: Crystal Gem, Crystal Prism, Crystal Flake, Crystal Shards and a Whole or Broken Scale entry. Three dragon materials: Dragon Tear, Dragon Horn and Dragon Claw. And four level 3 runes, one per element. Only ten of those thirty have a published price, all in Gold, ranging from 2,000 to 8,000.

One naming inconsistency on his own shelf

The ore called Redsunder on the Grocery template is called Reisunder in the official ore table, and the two pages were edited a day apart in early August 2026. This is the third such conflict inside the official wiki - the others being Sand Rock against Sandstone and Eye of Hatred against Eye of Evil - and the rule we apply throughout is that the data template wins over prose and the more recent edit wins over the older. The ore table is the newer of these two, so Reisunder is what this site uses. If you are cross-referencing a shopping list against a forging recipe, that is the kind of mismatch that makes an ore look missing when it is not.

Step-by-Step

  1. Find him in the Grocery building. Both sources that list the town's NPCs place him there and describe him as the vendor for potions and materials.
  2. Spend Gold on the things you cannot farm efficiently. Level 3 runes at 3,000 Gold each and Crystal Flakes at 3,000 for three are the two categories with clear farming alternatives that cost Cave Tickets instead.
  3. Treat Bond Currency as his currency rather than a general one. It is earned through the Bonds system and no other published sink for it exists.
  4. Check both empty tabs occasionally. The Bond Shop and Premium tabs existed but were unpopulated at the official template's last edit, which was over a month ago.
  5. Buy blessing materials in the middle brackets rather than the top. The Grocery stocks Crystal Shards, Flakes, Prisms and Gems but not the Star tier that the +10 to +12 recipes need.
  6. Do not buy potions expecting a documented effect. Six of the eight potions have no published effect anywhere, including the Fate Potion, which one competing database omits entirely.

Tips & Notes

  • The Grocery is the only published way to buy a rune outright, which makes it the fallback when you are short of Cave Tickets rather than short of Gold.
  • The nine ores on the shelf skip the early tiers entirely - the cheapest thing there by ore level is Fluorite at level 19 - so this is a mid-game shop rather than a starter one.
  • Quill is the other half of this economy: he buys anything you are not wearing, at 2 to 260 Gold per ore, which is where the Gold for a Grocery trip comes from.

FAQ

What currencies does Torgar accept?

What does the Grocery sell?

Thirty items: eight potions, nine ores, five blessing materials, three dragon materials and four level 3 runes. Only ten of those have a published Gold price, ranging from 2,000 to 8,000.

What are Bonds for?
