What this page helps you decide: Whether the highest non-mythical skill damage on the table is worth a 100 reroll average, and what the unlabelled Luck stat does or does not tell you.

Archdruid is the only Legendary race in Iron Soul: Dungeon at a published 1.00%, joint eighth of 13 alongside the retired Dragoon, and the last entry before the table drops into the mythical band. It gives Luck 20%, 30%, 40%, Skill Damage 25%, 37%, 50% and Cooldown Reduction 10%, 15%, 20%. That 50% skill damage at three stars is the highest skill damage figure of any race outside the mythicals, and higher than Lucifer's one star value. At 1.00% the average hunt is 100 rerolls, even odds arrive at 69, 90% confidence needs 230, and three stars averages 300 rerolls. One caveat is worth stating up front: Luck does not appear anywhere in the official sub-stats documentation, so its effect is unpublished.

All three Archdruid lines, star by star

Luck runs 20%, 30%, 40%. Skill Damage runs 25%, 37%, 50%. Cooldown Reduction runs 10%, 15%, 20%. The skill damage line is one of the 13 rounding cases on the table: 25 times one and a half is 37.5 and prints as 37, while three stars is exactly double at 50. That specific value is worth checking against any other source, because it is the single most misreported line in the game. One third-party site prints Archdruid's three star values as if they were the one star values, which inflates the race by a factor of two at first glance and makes its two star and three star rows meaningless.

Luck is a race-only stat with no published effect

The official sub-stats page documents the stats that gear, pets and scrolls can roll: health, attack, base attack, skill damage, critical damage, critical chance, cooldown reduction, movement speed, dash distance, dash charge rate and ultimate charge rate. Luck is not among them. It appears on exactly three races on the race table, Archdruid at 20 to 40, Lucifer at 50 to 100 and Night Elf at 100 to 200, and nowhere else in the published documentation. That means nobody outside the developer can currently say whether it affects drop rates, forge outcomes, wheel results or something else. We are not going to guess: it is a real published number attached to an unpublished mechanic, and any site telling you exactly what it does is inventing the explanation.

Where Archdruid sits among the 13 races

Joint eighth by draw rate at 1.00%, sharing that figure with Dragoon, but the only one of the pair still in the live pool. It is 25 times rarer than a common, twice as rare as Fairy, and five times more likely than any 0.20% mythical. A full Battle Pass season of 28 rerolls gives a 24.5% chance of at least one Archdruid. On the third-party tier list it shares the second tier with Fairy and Sorcerer, and that list separately notes that a three star Legendary can outperform a freshly drawn Mythical. Given the star rule, a three star Archdruid delivers 50% skill damage against a one star Lucifer's 30%, so that observation is consistent with the published numbers.

Step-by-Step

  1. Budget 69 rerolls for an even chance, which is roughly two and a half Battle Pass seasons at 28 each.
  2. Value the skill damage line first. At 50% for three stars it is the largest single damage line below the mythical band, and the official cap on skill damage sub-stats is four lines on gear.
  3. Treat the cooldown line as the second reason to keep it. The official sub-stats page strongly recommends carrying at least one cooldown line, and 20% at three stars covers that on its own.
  4. Do not assume what Luck does. It is not one of the stats listed on the official sub-stats page, and no source we checked publishes an effect for it.

Tips & Notes

  • A three star Archdruid gives 50% skill damage against a one star Lucifer's 30%, so stars can matter more than rarity.
  • If a source prints Archdruid at 40 Luck and 50 Skill Damage for one star, it has copied the three star row into the wrong slot.

FAQ

How rare is Archdruid in Iron Soul: Dungeon?

1.00% per reroll, the only Legendary race. That averages 100 rerolls, with even odds at 69 and 90% confidence at 230.

What does the Luck stat do?

It is not published. Luck appears only on Archdruid, Night Elf and Lucifer, and is absent from the official sub-stats page that documents every other stat in the game.

Is Archdruid better than a mythical race?

At three stars its 50% skill damage beats a one star Lucifer's 30% and every other race except a starred Lucifer. Against Demon or Night Elf it trades breadth for one very large line.
